Katie Mitchell

Katie completed her undergraduate degree with first class honours in Biological Sciences from Queen Mary University and then went on to graduate from Imperial College London with a distinction in Reproductive and Developmental Biology. As part of her master’s degree Katie worked at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on the Obs and Gynae ward conducting research into the effects of human cytomegalovirus on decidual natural killer cells found in the placental tissues. After graduating Katie joined the nursing team at Herts and Essex Fertility Centre as a HCA in 2023.
