Emma Monte-Colombi

Emma left school at 16 and started her career in retail at Marks and Spencer, where she worked across textiles, formal menswear tailoring, and formal womenswear and till counting, across the store for six years in Moorgate City Branch.

Emma moved to Imperial College London, South Kensington Campus in 2004, where she worked in reception services for two years, covering all building receptions, doing the post, parcels, room bookings, and checking in/out visitors, including Queen Elizabeth II with Prince Andrew and Queen Elizabeth II  with Prince Phillip on two different occasions when opening buildings.

In 2006 Emma was promoted and moved to the Pensions Office at Imperial, where she worked as a Pensions Assistant for 11 years, looking after 5000 employees covering all aspects of the SAUL USS and NHS pensions and providing office and PA support to the Pensions Manager.

In 2017 Emma was promoted again and moved to Hammersmith Hospital Campus, still within Imperial College London, and worked in HR as a Senior Human Resources Administrator, covering recruitment, new starters, leavers and looking after everything in the middle, probations, grievances, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave.

 Emma left ICL in 2019 to stay at home with her son who was born in 2018 and went back into retail part-time at the Range in January 2022  to get back into the work routine as her son started nursery.

Emma enjoys spending time with her elderly and young family, going on day trips and holidays in the UK.
