Sister donates eggs to make our dream come true
We moved our treatment to Herts & Essex after three failed NHS rounds at another clinic. From the moment we walked into the clinic we felt welcomed and listened to. We went on to have a further two rounds with my eggs and achieved something we had never before, in having an embryo frozen. Unfortunately, it was not to be with my eggs and we moved on to an egg donor cycle. This is when my amazing little sister made the offer to donate her eggs. You supported us all through this journey and to our amazement I fell pregnant after the first transfer. The weeks after finding out were filled full of fear that something would go wrong but you supported us through this and fitted us in for scans to give us reassurance.
On the 17th of February 2022, our little boy Louis was born weighing 8lb 5oz. He is our absolute world. We will never be able to thank you and my little sister enough for making us a mummy and daddy. We shall be back in the future to hopefully have a sibling for Louis.
We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to make our biggest dream come true.
