I felt assured during a scary and unknown time

The team at Herts & Essex always made me feel welcome and assured during a scary and unknown time. Maybe it was the friendly faces using my name when they said hello, maybe it was the joke that was made by the lady who took my payments or even the sperm shaped stress ball I picked up on my very first visit.

At first when the process was explained to me, I was absolutely lost but as time went on, things became clearer and each appointment, process, procedure or medication was explained to me very well so I could make informed decisions.

The @Salve app and messaging service to talk to a nurse was really helpful and I got responses quite quickly.

I was very lucky and feel extremely grateful that I fell pregnant my first try. I welcomed Alexandra in August 2023, named after her very special aunt.
