An exciting opportunity for a Fertility Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Fertility Nurse or Midwife to join our close-knit, independent clinic. Located in our purpose-built facility in Cheshunt — this role offers the perfect blend of clinical excellence and a supportive, inclusive work culture. Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will have a professional, flexible, and reliable attitude, and will enjoy new challenges, learn new skills and working on a one-to-one basis.
  • They will be joining a close-knit team and will be expected to work with the Nurses and Consultants, reporting to the Nurse Manager.
  • They will have the opportunity to utilise their fertility experience and will also be able to extend their knowledge within the Fertility Nursing Sector.
  • They will be responsible for meeting the individual needs of patients and their partners who attend the clinic throughout their fertility journey.
  • They will be expected to ensure that all activities are carried out according to the clinic’s protocols and Quality Management System, as well as the NMC, CQC and HFEA code of practice.
  • Training and development will actively be encouraged within the role.

Minimum Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with an up-to-date PIN
  • Level 1 Registration with the NMC
  • At least 1-year post-registration experience, ideally including fertility experience
  • Understanding of the issues facing patients undergoing fertility treatment
  • Sedation and theatre recovery experience preferred
  • Good interpersonal, communication and written skills
  • Passion for high-quality patient safety and care
  • Counselling Certification (not essential)
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
