Events

We hold our very popular open evenings once every month. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy an informative evening, meet our friendly team, view our facilities and discover more about the fertility services we offer.

Open evenings are usually held on the first Tuesday of every month, although we have recently added extra dates due to high demand.

All our open evenings are held in our spacious waiting room and start promptly at 7.00pm with a presentation by a member of our expert team. In addition, we provide demonstrations of fertility drugs and we can give you up-to-date success rates on a one-to-one basis. We have plenty of free parking and refreshments are provided.

Our staff will be present throughout the evening, so do come along and make use of the informal evening to get impartial advice and answers to those questions you have been wanting to ask.

Herts and Essex Fertility - The Fertility Show - Olympia London 2015

The Fertility Show 2015

Olympia, London
Saturday 7th November 2015: 10am – 6pm
Sunday 8th November 2015: 10am – 5pm

With the World Health Organisation estimating that 1-in-6 couples are affected by infertility, it is more important now than ever before that we help to raise awareness of infertility and its effects. Treatments for infertility feature regularly in the media and many local CCGs have either cut, or are considering cutting NHS funding of fertility provision, so we’re joining the show again this year to make sure that those individuals looking for information are able to explore the options with expert professionals in a safe and discreet environment.

Bring your questions along to Stand 55 where you can learn from our experts about our fertility treatments, from fertility assessment, ICSI/PICSI, egg and sperm sharing for free IVF treatment, altruistic egg and sperm donation, surrogacy and same-sex treatment, all in the privacy of our consultation booth.

Every year newspaper headlines boast of scientific breakthroughs – in genetics, cryopreservation, laboratory technologies and elsewhere – that promise to improve the success rates of fertility treatment. So what new technologies are IVF clinics incorporating into their treatment options and what are the outcomes and evidence to justify their cost? In this talk, specialists from two different clinics describe some of the emerging technologies they employ and their reasons. With Lucy Richardson, Senior Clinical Embryologist at the UK’s Herts & Essex Fertility Centre and Dr Ernesto Bosch, Medical Director of IVI Valencia in Spain.
