Too much TV is associated with low sperm counts!!
A small study carried out looking at the effects of TV viewing and exercise found it to be associated with mens sperm quality. The study found that sperm concentration was related to the time spent watching TV; watching more than 20 hours of TV a week affected 44% of mens sperm concentration to those who never watched any TV. Largely due to the long hours spent sitting on the sofa.
Exercise had an opposite affect, exercising 15 or more hours a week had 73% higher sperm concentration compared to men who exercised less than five hours a week. Although the study was found to have a significant affect on sperm concentration from TV viewing an exercise, it is difficult to associate it to a clinical relevance.
