The Herts & Essex Fertility Centre has a fantastic career opportunity available for an experienced Senior Embryologist to join our highly respected laboratory team.
Our spacious laboratory is located in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art fertility clinic and is equipped with an electronic witnessing system. The successful candidates will benefit from working alongside a highly talented, and well-respected, medical and scientific team. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of fertility treatment options which include a very successful egg sharing, egg donation and surrogacy programme, and an internal donor sperm bank.
Applicants must be highly motivated and have excellent attention to detail in both clinical and non-clinical work, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records. A good working knowledge of the HFEA Code of Practice and previous experience in an HFEA registered centre is essential.
Senior Embryologist – ICSI trained
The candidate for this role will be trained and proficient in all aspects of andrology and embryology. ICSI practitioner status is essential and experience in performing vitrification is desirable. Patient contact is vital and the applicant will be able to communicate articulately with patients and staff alike.
Applicants must be highly motivated and have excellent attention to detail in both clinical and non-clinical work, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records. A good working knowledge of the HFEA code of practice and previous experience in an HFEA registered centre is essential.
The position requires that you are registered, or be in the process of registering, with the HCPC. Please be aware that this is not a training post and candidates must have completed their embryology training.
This is a full-time position which includes weekend participation on a rota basis. Salary will be dependent on experience.
