On the 6th of August 2018, 10 days earlier than expected, we welcomed our miracle baby into the world.
When we were trying to conceive for 3 years with no success we decided to look for help.
Our intention was to attend a few fertility clinics open evenings and see which one “felt right”.
Herts and Essex was the first open evening on our list, we felt at ease and everything was explained so well. We had a tour and met the staff including the embryologist a lovely lady that said “I like to think of myself as your babies first babysitter” once she said that my mind was made up I had such a good feeling about the place and the staff I knew I didn’t want to visit other clinics.
The Ivf treatment process is not easy emotionally and sometimes physically but the staff at the clinic were always there when I needed them and so helpful, from the receptionists that would sense the panic in my voice when calling with an enquiry to the consultants that would take the time to answer any questions and the nurses that were so kind and understanding of the tough journey.
When we got our positive test on the 7th of December we knew we were one of the lucky ones, out first IVF ICSI treatment was successful..
Fast-forward and we are happy to announce our beautiful miracle baby boy was born 10 days early on the 6th of August 2018 we were lucky enough to have the perfect home birth.
There are no words to express my love and thanks to the team that help create my baby boy.
We look forward to bringing the baby back to the place he was created and meeting the people the special people there.
